A Collaborative Conversation with Justice Broderick - Creating Connections and Community Webinar

January 26, 2021 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM (EST)

Description

No one can question that COVID has disrupted the lives of kids, families, educators, and schools here in N.H. It has also highlighted the challenges and opportunities around rebuilding community and creating new models to ensure the mental health of children.

Join NHSBA and NHASP on January 26, 2021, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. as we offer a collaborative conversation with Judge John Broderick, Sr. Director of External Affairs at Dartmouth-Hitchcock who has spoken about mental health awareness to over 85,000 students in 230 Northern New England schools over the last four years, and Jeff Levin, MAT, MSW, of the Reconnection Project.

They will lead a forum of educators, parents, and young people to discuss the struggles young people have been facing since well before the epidemic and lead a vibrant exchange of ideas about community-wide strategies and initiatives for our students, schools and communities.

Justice Broderick will share his experience of dissecting districts' Youth Risk Behavior Survey results to drive conversation and decision making, and he and Jeff will cover how to individualize interventions based on your specific community/district needs, as well as share information regarding upcoming programming and supports available across the state.
